I recently had a maternity photoshoot with Cristina from Cristina Marie Photography in Bergen County. At first, I was apprehensive to have my pictures taken, but after speaking with Cristina, she not only put me at ease, but she also made me realize I’ll only be pregnant with my son once, and I’ll want to look back and cherish these fleeting moments. The experience from beginning to end was terrific. She provided snacks and water, made me feel comfortable and beautiful, and shared laughs between outfit changes. Cristina was professional and fun to work with. She would share the pictures with me as we went along to see if I liked them and gave many suggestions. Hands down, it was one of the best experiences I’ll always remember. I'm beyond thankful to her for helping me make the decision to book this session because I'll always have these pictures that made me look and feel beautiful, even when pregnancy can sometimes make you question your beauty. She is a gem to work with, and I highly recommend her for all your maternity photo needs.

I had such a great experience with Cristina! She made me feel super comfortable and really listened to who I was as a person. She really takes her time to make the experience personalized, from the welcome sign she put up to the outfits and poses she thinks about for the day of the shoot. HIGHLY recommend Cristina!! She is so talented and kind. I used her for newborn photos and I can’t say enough good things about the session. Cristina made us feel so welcome from the moment we walked into her studio. She was so patient throughout the process even when my baby became fussy. It takes a special person to be able to do what she does and it made me appreciate the photos so much more! Cristina’s studio is filled with so many different props, outfits to choose from, as well as things to make baby comfortable (i.e. heating pad, sound machine, etc.). Cristina never made us feel rushed and explained everything she was going to do. Thank you for a great experience as a first time mom.

I had a maternity shoot with Cristina today at her Bergen County portrait studio. I've never had a professional photoshoot and the experience was really great! Cristina did a great job of making me feel comfortable and providing direction, which I definitely needed. I cannot recommend Cristina enough! I was on the fence of having maternity photos taken for my second pregnancy and I can genuinely say this was the best decision I’ve made. From the moment we first spoke she made me feel SO comfortable and makes you feel like you've known her your whole life. The day of our shoot, she was SO warm, welcoming, and kind. She made me feel so comfortable, played fun music, and just creates an overall amazing experience. My toddler also came for some family portraits. Cristina was so warm to her, and handled her tantrum like a pro. She was uncooperative, but from my photos you would never, ever know it. My photos are something I will cherish for the rest of my life and I am so happy I found Cristina - I will definitely be back for my photos once this little babe arrives. I had the utmost pleasure booking Cristina for my first borns’ newborn shoot! She was nothing shy of AMAZING!! From the photos she captured to the way she handled my son. I had zero anxiety and no need to hover over her. She performed in such a professional manner, wore a face mask while handling him with such care, and her studio provided a clean and comforting environment (down to the temp — twas perfect!). There are snacks and refreshments available for the parents. She was stocked with all baby essentials such as a bottle warmer, changing table, swaddles, etc. if needed. She has much inventory to choose from when it comes to props, back drops, attire, etc. She has it all! Impressively equipped! Even her communication via email, through text, in person is so pleasing! Being a visionary myself, I can truly appreciate her aesthetic style/eye. There is NOT ONE complaint I have to give. I will be booking her for all future shoots going forward. I am beyond happy with her impeccable service.

Cristina captured the most memorable pictures of our baby. She took all of our requests and made them happen better than we imagined. I was resistant as a new mom having pictures of myself with the baby, she encouraged I do them and I couldn't be more thankful for her compassion. These pictures and all of the pictures came out gorgeous. We are forever thankful she captured this once in a lifetime life event for us.
